Once again the city of Carnota is committed at FITUR, the International Tourism Trade Fair of Madrid (staging from January 23 to January 27, 2019), and supporting the presentations of the projects in which it collaborates this year:
– Strategy to enhance the value of the Intangible Heritage of Costa da Morte, promoted by CMAT, which aims to make visible the tourist-cultural potential offered by our Tourist Area.
– Gran Fondo Ézaro that will take place next July. Organised by EMESPORTS with the partnership of City Councils of the itineray: Muros, Cee, Muxía, Carnota and Dumbría. This sport event take part of the international circuit UCI Grand Long Distance World Series, developed by the maximum cycling world organism. This is one of the most important events of the Galician and Spanish Cycling Calendar, with more than 1500 registered.
The route along the Costa da Morte, as the participants themselves point out, is a unique scenario in terms of beauty and hardness: 140 km. and ramps up to 30%.
